I'm really pleased that you liked this scarf. Unfortunately this particular scarf was a one-off piece that was commissioned when I first started painting on silk and so it already has an owner.

I will continue to show more of the scarves I have designed & painted at this blog, but mainly as a record of all the work I have done, leading me to the work that I'm currently doing.

Anji, This native bush garden lay in the outskirts of Marysville, Victoria, Australia and housed the sculpture collection of Bruno Torfs.

The bush in this area of Victoria really is particularly beautiful with stringy bark trees, talk fern trees in shady gullies and glistening rivers.

It has been a particularly dry summer in many areas of Southern Australia with extremely low humidity and the recent bushfires devastated many communities all around this area.

This particular native bush garden housed the sculpture collection of Bruno Torfs. Unfortunately most of Bruno's art was destroyed in the recent bushfires in Marysville, Victoria.

The people are strongly spirited and have a lot of support to re-build their communities, both from their fellow country men and women and the State & National Government.

And Bruno has been able to salvage some of the sculptures and intends to re-build this sculpture garden once again.
